The speed control of a stepper motor is achieved by the speed of the input pulse frequency. When the frequency of the pulse decreases, the speed of the stepper motor decreases; When the frequency increases, the speed accelerates. The structure of Jin's stepper motor is simple, easy to maintain, and widely used. For example, its application in the measurement of viscous materials is already mature. Let's take a look below:
For example, the transportation of viscous materials such as syrup, bean paste, Baijiu, oil, tomato sauce, etc. Stepper motor controlled gear pump can also achieve precise measurement. Gear pumps have been widely used in conveying viscous substances. At present, piston pumps are mostly used for measuring these materials, which have disadvantages such as difficulty in adjustment, complex structure, inconvenient maintenance, high power consumption, and inaccurate measurement.
Gear pump metering relies on a pair of gears meshing and rotating to measure, and the material is forced from the feed port to the discharge port through the space between teeth. The power comes from the stepper motor, and the position and speed of the stepper motor's rotation are controlled by a programmable controller. The measurement accuracy is higher than that of the piston pump.
Stepper motors are suitable for operation at low speeds. When the speed increases, the noise of the stepper motor will significantly increase, and other economic indicators will significantly decrease. For gear pumps with high rotational speeds, it is better to choose a speed increasing structure. We initially adopted the structure of a stepper motor directly coupled gear pump on the viscous body packaging machine, but the noise was difficult to avoid and the reliability decreased. Later, the method of using spur gears to increase speed was adopted, which reduced the speed of the stepper motor, controlled noise, improved reliability, and ensured measurement accuracy.
